My Life in a Tiffany Bleu House

I painted Marie's Maison Tiffany Bleu as a reminder that this is the best jewelry box I ever received!

Napping Alfresco

J'adore taking naps! When I get home from work, I usually take a twenty minute power nap before doing miscellaneous house stuff. It energizes me so that I'm ready for the next half of my day.

What would be even better...being able to nap alfresco!

Blue and White Teacups

One of the grocery stores I frequently visit is a Japanese supermarket called Mitsuwa Marketplace in San Diego. It's fun to browse through their variety of Japanese food that cannot be found in a regular grocery store. Also, located inside the marketplace, is a shop that sells all kinds of Japanese dishes particularly a nice collection of teacups (and sake cups as well).

I've been looking for teacups with lids and I was in luck to find these blue and white set on sale for $5.00 each.

I chose that set since I know it goes well with these blue and white porcelain egg coddlers that I already own.

The set also looks good paired with the porcelain white teapot and cow creamer already in my collection.

Here is the set on my silver tray

And finally, they look so good with fresh white tulips, one of my fav spring flowers.

And completely off-subject, I took mon petite Coco for a bike ride last weekend and here she is so happy and content! Life is good for her now.

Anthropologie Sale

I stopped by Anthropologie on my way home from work today. As soon as I walked in the store, I was greeted by this whimsical chair. Well I just had to stop and feel, and of course take a few photos.

The chair's cushions were cleverly replaced by dried moss.

I've always coveted this vintage iron trough, but the price is unjustified for me

How cute that they used this metal funnel as a plant holder

These shelves are also covered entirely with dried moss

Even though I wasn't planning to buy anything, I couldn't resist but to get three of these digit spice jars that are on sale for $1.95 each.

They're perfect on my spice shelf above my stove

Or with my black and white dish rack

Eastern Day Spa in So Cal

Mon cheri treated me to a relaxing weekend as part of my Valentine's day present. I found this really nice day spa in Leucadia called Bergamot on the internet, while browsing for day spas around the area. I was attracted to their sorta Eastern Balinese theme and just wanna say, I was glad to have picked this place. It was like being transported somewhere in Bali, and it only took me 15 minutes to get there. The place was so peaceful, tranquil and serene with their palapas floating over their beautiful pond, everything was so organically beautiful.

Even their pedicure stations are out of the ordinary

And isn't this living wall art just divine!

L'amour ala Ladurée

Here's a Valentine's Day date that I can look forward to...a trip to one of the Ladurée salons in Paris. They even have special love boxes and a special menu for this special day.

C'est un jour très romantique!

Avec beaucoup de roses.
