My Life in a Tiffany Bleu House

I painted Marie's Maison Tiffany Bleu as a reminder that this is the best jewelry box I ever received!

Done! Done! and Done!

I'm back dear friends. For those of you who missed me, je désolé, truly I am sorry for not being around. For those of you who did not even notice, well that's fine too, I'm here anyway. As you may know, my life has been "la vida loca" lately because as the saying goes, "I bit off more than I can chew." But happy to report that had a very fulfilling and productive time last week and I was able to check off a few things from my to do list.

This piece is my latest addition to mon petite shoppe which I converted...

...from this sad old and dated piece...

...to bright and current

I even had fun creating these pulls made from canvas cloth

Now I have more extra space to put in beaucoup things to sell in mon petite shoppe like these adorable frenchy thingys!

Speaking of petite shoppes, I visited my blog friend Kate from Salvage Dior's, space in Country Roads in Old Town Orange. I purchased this vintage hutch from her space because it's irresistible and the price is right!

This un petit garçon also came home with moi

He is the perfect match for my young Marie Antoinette!

Ahhh, l'amour!

Here are a few more finds that I have yet to transform

Wait till I show you how pretty these fabrics are which I will be using to reupholster the french Louis chairs.

Till next time mes amis!

Love the color of the blue hutch. I like that curly cue white bowl thing in your shop. Or is it a light fixture? That is really cool.

Hey girl! Recieved my new edition of Romantic Country magazine in the mail and found the artical all about you and your beautiful jewlery box treasure & the story of how it came to be. I had to giggle to myself because i guess i thought your home was a "botique". Everything is so perfect in its place and so beautifully blue! Guess that is why you are named "a self described born shopper" lol you are too cute for words! Just wanted to pop over and tell you Congratulations and how happy i am for you in landing this "spread" in FiFi's latest magazine! xoox, Tracie
ps - adding you to my blog roll!

Love the Louis chair! You are so inspiring. While blog hopping (when I should be working at my day job) I found your site! I was looking for the latest issue of Romantic Country. My house is very eclectic (mix of too many different styles) and now i want to slowly change it to more a more vintage cottage look. It will take a long time......in the meantime you've inspired me, and I'm looking forward to some new projects this summer..like painting my kitchen, and working in my garden!

Can't wait to get my hands on this issue and see your home! Congratulations!
