Fabuleux Finds

Does it make you feel fabuleux when something you have been hunting for is suddenly found, right there, in front of your very eyes? Please don't think me shallow, but this is how I felt this weekend, it's like hitting the mother lode!

I have found the treasure
That lies at the Rainbow's end;
Wealth beyond computing
Is mine to give or lend. - Agnes Hayes Post

This sweet no handle pink footed teacup is a rare find.

Oh how I've searched far and wide for this vintage french enamelware lavabo!

When I found this hanging vintage kitchen scale, it was a terrible rusty red. I gave it a bit of a modern life by spray painting it coastal blue.

Happy hunting! May your finds be fabuleux!

Hello Marie... your tresors are wonderful!... I collect teacups and especially footed ones... that one is just gorgeous!... and yes, I have looked long and hard sometimes for things... Jack remembered having a little old mustard jar bank as a child, and I searched for 25 years looking for one... one day, I walked into a shop and there it was!... I paid an exorbitant price for it, even back then, but the smile on Jack's face was so worth it!... wishing you a beautiful summers day... xoxo Julie Marie

Thanks Marie for letting me know about the flower, I never realized it was part of the Jasmine family ~ guess too cold winters for it here in Michigan, Yes, on the Pearl in the center, also would use a moist chenille stem to the flower to keep it fresh in the bouquet~ Brings back Memories....
Have a wonderful Week
